Axel WINS!
Little BIG man Axel did it again!
This year has been amazing for Axel. He started the year by winning the Simple Session in Estonia, he came in second at the Adidas Clash in Berlin, Germany, fourth on the AmsterdDamn Am in Holland, third at the King of Wood in Rouen, France, he became a European Champion on street and miniramp, and this weekend he won the street competition of T Mobile’s Extreme Playgrounds in Berlin
After being eliminated in the first round, the crowd voted Axel back in the competition via SMS. And I guess nobody regrets voting for Axel now!!
Axel ended up in the final with Alex Mizurov (Germany), Lois Taubert (Germany) and Chris Haslam (Canada).
After skating his second run in the final Axel had the same score (average of both runs) as Alex Mizurov, but because Axel had a higher score for one of his runs he ended on the first place and winning the title, Volcomgratulations Axel for getting 1st and Lois Taubert for landing on 3rd place!
