It was a rainy November day. About 150 skaters showed up For the Nike Sb Best Trick Contest. The contest was held on the Nike Sb Best Trick Obstacle that was specially built for the Tessenderlo Skatehappening. The old centerpiece in the first part of the skatepark was torn down to make place for the black and gold hip/wallride combination.  The contest was devided in 2 categories and 3 different disciplines.
The obstacle was getting overcrowded when best trick for non sponsored started. A lot of tricks went down but after 10 minutes it was clear that Trevors double 360 flip was the best of them all. A lot more crazy shit during the 2o min hip session for the sponsored. It was a hard choice for the judges between Kevin Tshala’s Hardflip late 180, Robby Willaerts Nollie Double Bigspin Heelflip and James Ghekieres Double Laser Flip.
A lot of  slams during the best transfer session. Yanto Drèze almost killed himself trying some of his flip-to transfer tricks. Some beautiful tricks were trown over the wall as well. Kevin Vu landed a massive bs kickflip and Justin Decapano showed one of his superstylish 360 flips.
The all the way discipline scared a lot of the competitors only Vu, Justin and Yanto were trying to grind/slide to the end of the rail. Justin landed a nollie 50 but it was Yanto’s lipslide that convinced the judges.
